KRS has been certified under the ISO 27001 information security standard for the first time

KRS has successfully completed a management systems audit and renewed its ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications. Additionally, the company has been certified for the first time under the ISO 27001 information security management system standard.

The new certificate confirms that the KRS information security management system meets the requirements of the ISO 27001 standard. It covers the management of information security risks, access, incidents, and other processes related to information security.

Information security – an increasingly important part of operations

As the company grows and the scope of its projects and information flows increases, so does the importance of information security. KRS works daily with project documentation, client and partner information, and other data critical to its operations, making the proper protection of this information an essential part of the company's overall management processes.

ISO 27001 helps manage information security as a consistent system – by assessing potential risks, controlling access to information, defining responsibilities, and preparing to respond appropriately to information security incidents.

The ISO 27001 certification of KRS is a logical step in the development of the company's management systems and serves as an additional mark of reliability for clients and partners, confirming that systematic attention is paid to information security within the company.

Three previously held ISO certificates also renewed

During the audit, KRS also renewed three existing management system certificates:

• ISO 9001 – quality management system;
• ISO 14001 – environmental management system;
• ISO 45001 – occupational health and safety management system.

The certification was performed by UAB Euromatas.
