About the project

KRS carries out electrical grid contracting work in the Radviliškis and Raseiniai district municipalities under a contract with AB Energijos Skirstymo Operatorius (ESO). The project includes scheduled electrical grid work, technical maintenance, new user connections, and rapid response to faults and emergency situations.

KRS role

KRS acts as the general contractor for the project. The contract value is 2.5 million EUR excluding VAT. Work began in September 2026, and the contract is scheduled to run until November 2029.

Some of the work will be carried out under challenging conditions, such as during storms, heavy rain, snowfall, and other natural disasters. When necessary, work will be performed at night, as well as on live equipment without disconnecting the power supply.

The work performed helps ensure a reliable and uninterrupted power supply. In the event of accidents or natural disasters, rapid fault repair and power restoration are essential, while scheduled work helps maintain the electrical grid infrastructure.
