2026–2027
Nemėžis, Vilnius District
In progress
A new building is rising at Nemėžis St. Raphael Kalinowski Gymnasium, located at Sirokomlės St. 2, which will house preschool and primary school students. The project was commissioned by the Vilnius District Municipality to expand educational infrastructure in the rapidly growing Nemėžis eldership.
Project Scope
The 3,000-square-meter building is designed to include 18 classrooms: three for preschool, three for pre-primary, and twelve for primary education. These modern spaces are tailored to contemporary educational needs and ensure accessibility for all children, regardless of their physical abilities.
Benefits to the Community
The new building will significantly expand educational infrastructure in the Nemėžis eldership and provide better learning conditions for a larger number of students.
Timeline and Funding
Construction began in the second quarter of 2026, and students are expected to move into the new facilities by the end of 2027. The Vilnius District Municipality has secured over 4 million euros in funding for this extension project.
