About the project

Under a new contract, KRS continues emergency response work on the water supply and sewage networks of UAB "Vilniaus vandenys". The work is carried out in the city of Vilnius and the districts of Vilnius, Švenčionys, and Šalčininkai.

KRS crews repair failures in water supply and domestic sewage networks, often working regardless of the time of day or weather conditions.

Project scope

Upon receiving a report of an emergency, a KRS crew responds within 2 hours. Emergency calls occur daily, requiring work to be carried out at night, on weekends, during holidays, and in challenging weather conditions.

In the event of an accident, it is crucial to repair the fault as quickly as possible to restore water supply or stop sewage from leaking into the ground.

Timeline and funding

The contract value is 2.42 million EUR. KRS is executing the new contract from September 2026 to September 2028.
